hi there, my 2002 acura rsx type s was stolen and i am wondering if the cars immobilizer can be defeated and the car started without the key?

Highly unlikely. MANY millions of code posibilities.
The car thief would have to be very sophisticated since
the transponders are coded to the VIN.

Means the thief has a key, or access to a key.
Or it was towed and shipped out of country where
it can be corrected.

Those are the option I know of.
