Car Alarms: Toy Tacoma Alarm disconect ?, executive model, keyfob

I bought a 2003 Toyota Tacoma with an Executive Model One keyless entry alarm system. The alarm settings are just to overdone. It sets itself if you leave it, it locks when the engine starts, you can't use the keys to unlock or alarm goes off. Needles to say I would just like the keyless to work. Can I reset this myself? I had a 2004 toy taco and I had to buy the keyfob from Toyota and they just gave me the instructions and I programed it myself. Can you help me?
