Car Alarms: Toyota (1993/94) Corolla immobiliser, valet parking, intermittent problem

Question
Thank you for this. There is a third party immobiliser fitted to this car. It is operated by inserting a quarter-inch jack plug into a socket before inserting and turning the ignition key. The plug has a logo on it (a lightening flash set inside a circle). The car is permanently immobilised at the moment. I read your answers to others' questions and tried locating a switch/button for valet parking. I can't find one. We have tried various combinations of locking and unlocking to no avail. The car has a new battery fitted, but there was an intermittent problem prior to this. Can you help please?

Starter kill repair
Sorry, sooooo many of these types of systems out there,
and little recouse on getting new wand or swipe keys.

Removal/repair is suggested.

See the pic attached to cut out the starter kill relay
and repair it. Then repair and extract the system wires.

Good luck.
