Car Alarms: Grand Cherokee Jeep alarm disablement problems...aaaarrrggghhhh!!!!, grand cherokee jeep, grand cherokee

Ok as far as I can determine...The FACTORY ALARM DISARM WIRE IS
purple/yellow |-| negative wire
Located in the drivers door harness.on a Grnd Cherokee Jeep!!
Then the idea is....
Once Located, splice into either wire with
a simular guage wire, and put it to
a solid chassis ground. This terminates
the alarm functions entirely..
Problem is....is, that there is no wire of this colour in the door area as said, as I live in Ukwould there be a different colour wire to use, my alarm is going of 24hrs a day, albeit very quite...its like it does not want to let the neighbours know how bitchy its being...please help....remember UK..

Try the passenger side as that would not have changed for US versions
it would be on the left side of the vehicle. For the imports,
they would have only changed the steering column and assemblies
there for the UK version I
would think.
