Car Alarms: 2001 Tracker doors won`t lock, chevy tracker, dome light

Question
2001 Chevy Tracker doors won`t lock when I turn on the ignition unless I wait for the dome light to go out. The vehicle was purchased with a K9 Mundial 2 in it but I updated it to a K9 Mundial 3 thinking it may fix the problem. The 2 was also acting screwy (not allowing a 2nd remote to program and a faulty valet that wouldn`t engage.)
