how do i reset the car alarm so it wont go off so easy on a 2006 Kia sorento ex

Likely that it's an after market system with a sensitive
knock sensor.
Locate this sensor (little box that would have a blinking light
that would trigger upon impact on the vehicle's frame),
under the drivers side dash area. probably wire tied in place.
Some installers would drill it to the frame. This is bad
since it is way too sensitive that way.

When found, turn the inset wheel counter clockwise
to turn down, or unplug it altogether and rely on the
door triggers to protect the vehicle.
