Car Alarms: Galaxy 5000RS Remote start install on FJ Cruiser, toyota fj cruiser, galaxy 5000rs

Question
AlarmTek,
I have a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser that I am getting ready to install a Galaxy 5000RS remote start and alarm.  The item is on order and I've been checking the installation and the vehicle starting schematic and it looks like the 07 FJ needs to have two starter wires go hot off the ignition to make it start.  On all the remote starters that I researched it appears that they only have one starter wire coming off the unit.  They have 3 ignition outputs, the FJ uses 2, but only one starter.  If I need a second starter wire do I need to use the 3rd ignition output to a relay connected to a high current source (there are two at the ignition switch, 1-50amp and 1-30amp)to basically create my own 2nd starter connection?  Everything else looks straight forward regarding the alarm, door locks and remoting the rear window hatch, which the FJ doesn't have...but will.

Thanks in advance and GREAT SITE!

Answer
I appreciate that. & While I appreciate the Kudo's
and your need to interface it, I will have to decline
your request for installation assistance.

Unfortunately I sell this product as well, and it's a
big conflict of interest for me to offer this level
of installation support to a non customer.
My own buyers would protest.

Please go back to the seller for this support,
or try my free 12 volt installers forum for
advice.

Sorry about that, but good luck on this
project.

Side note:
The main reason I sell products at all, is that I
service and support each and every item in the shop
personally. This is why people buy here instead
of the Ebay'ers or other, maybe cheaper sites.
It's the aftersale, continuing support they spend
a bit extra for. It's my trademark in the business.

Maybe we can do business on the next vehicle?

A.
