Car Alarms: Car Alarm Maxima 1994, nissan maxima, car alarm

I have a problem with my  nissan maxima 1994. Almost every day if the car is locked the alarm turn on without a reason. It happens ussualy around 10-11 am, but sometimes happens later. I have notice when the weather is hot it turn on.
Can I fix this problem.?
Or can i just turn off the alarm, How can I do this?
i heard its factory alarm so I ll have problem with starting the engine if I turn off the alarm, Is this true??
Pls help me, coz my neighbors start complaining about the alarm :)
