Car Alarms: no valet switch, leg area, code alarm

Question
Am buying a used explorer from car lot, and found to my dismay the alarm system is still intact, have no key fob, the code does not work on the door pad, and it has a kill switch so car won't start, have looked for a valet switch/button and don't see one.  Right now the battery cable is unhooked and it looks like I am going to miss work...help please

Answer
Ok, usually located at the left leg area drilled into the plastic
panel covering the wire pack going out to the drivers side door.

It can also be part of the antenna on the windshield if installed
or, even part of the LED light if it's a Code Alarm system.

Hard to say since I am not there to inspect, but keep searching.
If no joy, try taking it up to the local car alarm installer
to search it out.

Wish I had more for ya.

Have a good one, hope it works out!
