Question
i have a 2006 scion tc im putting an omega max car alarm/remote start i hooked everything up but the remote locks and remote start not sure if locks are 5 wire or 3 and the remote start doesnt seem to want to work does my car have 2 ignition wires to remote start. I used to install this stuff 10 years ago so im alittle behind on the newer cars and what they need for this stuff to work

Answer
Ok, see 3 wire negative door locks. So this part is easy.
On the remote starter, not so much.
You will need to bypass the immobilizer in the
ignition column to get it to remote start:

IM05- Immobilizer bypass - Programmable Platform #05:
Transponder Override Interface
Firmware: PKT2 2.00 [Immobilizer Bypass]
IM05- Immobilizer bypass Programmable Immobilizer Data Override interface is preloaded with upgradeable firmware for late model Toyota/Lexus vehicles including 2009 Toyota Venza w/ Smart-Key Push To Start ignition systems. IM05- Immobilizer bypass temporarily overrides the factory immobilizer when remote starting while maintaining the integrity of the manufacturer's anti-theft system. *Programmable firmwares available for Honda/Acura, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Nissan/Infiniti/Scion & GM.=89.95 with wiring diagram
for the vehicle it is to be installed in.

Without it, "fugedahboudit!" :>(
