Car Alarms: K-9 alarm system, grandfathers, programing

Question
Installed a K-9 alarm (in 2000 so not sure what model now) in my grandfathers car. Worked fine since then; remote died so got a new one. Followed k-9 programing instructions and new remote works fine but now when you turn the ignition key ON, the siren chips at least 10 times. The alarm still works fine except for this. I cannot find out the reason why in any of the info that I still have from the alarm. Any help would be appreciated.

Answer
The best thing here is
to write to my OMEGA Alarm (CARALARM.COM)
technician at scadss@tmail.com and see if
he can assist you with this issue.

I unfortunately don't know the
system you are working with to advise
you properly on it's functions,
features or trouble shooting
information. Better to check with a tech
that might.

Good luck there.
