Car Alarms: ALARM, flip switch, start the car

I HAVE A 92 TROOPER WITH NO REMOTE. I ALWAYS HAD MY SWITCH OFF.  I REPLACED THE BATTERY AND NOW I CANT STOP THE ALARM OR START MY TRUCK. PRESTIGE APS-2 ALARM THAT I CAN SEE.  TRIED YOUR VALET SWITCH, BUT WONT WORK. PLEASE HELP,

Hmmmm,
Make sure you do the procedure correctly.
Might have missed a step:

KEY ON JUST BEFORE CRANKING ENGINE.
PRESS IN AND HOLD UNTIL YOU GET A RESPONCE
FROM THE ALARM.
KEY OFF.

This should toggle the alarm in and out of
valet/override.

If toggle type switch.
KEY ON, FLIP SWITCH, KEY OFF,
START THE CAR.
