Car Alarms: Prestige Remote Car Starter, remote car starter, car alarm installation

I have had great sucess with my remote car starter until my son used my car and somehow the battery died.  After getting the car jump started we noticed the remote car starter does not work even replaced it's battery, does it need to be reprogrammed?? any help will be greatly appreciated
