Car Alarms: Remote start problem, transmission control module, chevy suburban

I installed a Excalibur AL-1810-EDP security & remote start system on a 02 Chevy Suburban. If I remote start the vehicle, put the key in and tap break to turn off the remote start the Suburban transmission acts like it is trying to take off in 2nd gear. If I start with the key it acts normal. Everything seems to work right as far as the door locks, alarm and start. Never seen this problem before what did I forget? THANKS

Sounds like you missed the second ignition, which energizes the
transmission control module. The truck is not happy.
Please do not attempt to use the remote starter until
completely sure of the connections

Also, you will want to recheck the passlock bypass you
are using for proper installation.

Do all of this prior to using it again.
