Car Alarms: viper car alarm wont work, fcc id, designtech

Question
i have a 2002 yukon bought it with viper command start and alarm/lock system model number FCC ID ; NAHRLCD4 has little light up screen and locking buttons on front as well as three buttons on side, it worked for a awhile great then battery fell out and now it has a v with a square on the front and will no longer start by pushing the button.  okay what did i do to it my husband wants to know
