Car Alarms: Panic Alarm goes off at all times - no lights or horns just panic alarm sound, panic alarm, audi a4

Question
How do I disconnect the panic alarm in an Audi A4 1.8t 2002?  The panic alarm
goes off at all hours of the night.  It's the original factory alarm and the lights
nor the horn goes off, only the panic alrm sound.  Also, it does not matter if the
alarm is activated or not. The panic sound will go off either way.

Answer
Try key in the drivers door, turn left to disarm,
then right to unlock. Once done, it's reset since
the factory alarm is part of the OEM locking system.

If this does not stop the panic system, next stop
is AUDI. There is no quick fix on this one.
They will need to inspect & repair then explain
it to you. Could be a bad transmitter, but you will need
them to determine that.
