Motorcycle Repair: 1987 honda aspencade, honda aspencade, kill switch

Question
I have a new battery but my bike has been sitting awhile, when
I try to start it nothing happens, no clicks or turn over of any kind. Do you think it may be my starter or solenoid? I don't know if it is seized up or not but I thought it would make some sort of sound or drain the battery by trying to turn.

Answer
I know this may sound very basic, However, its a often looked over thing. Make sure the nuetral light is on (or at least in nuetral) The clutch is pulled in, and the kill switch is in the RUN position.
One of those may be tripped and causing your bike to not start.

Hope this helps!
