Car Alarms: Theft Deterrent System for 03 CTS, theft deterrent system, cadillac cts

I have an 03 Cadillac CTS. The key is stuck in the ignition and although the vehicle will start, it will not move from the park position. My theft deterrent light is on. Is there anyway I can reset my theft deterrent system to get my key out of the ignition?

Answer
No not by yourself I'm afraid.
This one is a complex PASSLOCK system
and will either need you to have
it towed into GM for reset, or
you can get a byapass module to eliviate
it all together.

But again, short of that, for now, GM will need
