Car Alarms: cobra alarm, cobra alarm, cobra brand

i was heading down the m6 tonight my reno espace lost power i have a feeling it has some thing to doo with the alarm its a cobra is it pos my alarm went of at work forgot to reset it and i drove for about 4 miles lost power it turns over but will start

I am not familiar with the Cobra brand alarms but some systems do indeed have an anti-carjacking feature that would shut the vehicle down.  I however am not sure what you are asking here, you say "it turns over but will start" I would have to think you mean it will not start.  If the Cobra alarm you have is the system I am thinking of, I would look into a mechanical issue with the car, like the alternator or other device.  Most alarm systems do not have the anti-carjacking feature but just a starter kill and a starter kill would prevent the car from turning over all together.
