Car Alarms: disconnect viper alarm on 95 cavalier, fuse holders, dash light

Question
Hi, I have a 95 cavalier that is automatic and mostly manuel,.. but I thought the viper alarm was disconnected when I bought it, it was doing so well for the past year, then one night, as I was about to start the car , it wouldnt start and the alarm came on, well the little button underneat the dash is no long there nor the horn in the engine, but the dash light keeps make the lights go on and off and keeps the car from coming on, so that means that the entire alarm system has not been taken out. How can that be done and can it be done by me and that simple,.. Im no mechanic nor a expert at labor work.:) sorry.. just not. Please help, I just losted my job , and this happening makes me even more upset and sad, .. I would love some advice and help in how to disconnect this alarm totally so i can drive out of my garage and continue on with my daily routine of finding a job etc.. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Answer
Take a look under the dash board.  There will be wires tied into the ignition harness that lead to the brain of the alarm.  In the harness that runs from the vehicle's ignition wiring there will be fuse holders, pull the fuses from these harnesses and the vehicle should behave as if there was no alarm.  This is assuming the system was wired in the typical way.  If the alarm was not wired in the typical way the vehicle will still not start, let me know and I will let you know where to look to reestablish the starter circuit.
