Car Alarms: I am in the market for car..., alarmtek, survalience

I am in the market for car alarms for Impala 02. Would you suggest any? I am looking for security futures. What do u say about Commando and Crimestoper?

Good morning Allen,
  Both companies purchase they're equipment from other manufacturers. Not to say that's bad, but for our purposes here, they relable the products they sell, and
it should be known, that they do not always have the
best tech suupport after the sale is made.

I did an 02' Impala about 3 weeks ago in my shop,
and used the Scytek Galaxy 5000 rsw made by
Precision/Scytek electronics. Nice, thorough
and well thought out piece.

For 90.00 it gave my customer, full car alarm,
keless entry, trunk release, remote start and
2 stage impact and domelight survalience in one
neat little package.

Your vehicle does have some installer issues,
like seperate door triggers, passlock II
vehicle anti theft system that needs to be bypassed if doing remote start, relays for trunk release etc...
But you would have these issues regardless of
the alarm you chose. These installation
situations are inherrent to the 02' Impala.

Let me know if you want to work togehter on this,
and I will be glad to advise further on the project,
and we'll get you squared away and outfitted
correctly.  If you go to the other companies,
just make sure there is someone there to answer your questions and provide the aftersale support you
will require. This is part is 70% of the game.

What good is it if it's installed wrong?
