UK Car Repair: 89 xj6 fuel pump, knee panel, passenger dash

Question
all of  a sudden my fuel pump isn't making any noise and of coourse my car wont start. is there  an in line fuse for this unit. i cannot seem to locate it, thanks

There is no fuse for the fuel pump, it is controlled by relays under the passenger dash knee panel.  the two relays main and fuel pump, must have permanent feeds fron the battery at the brown wire teminals no 30, and out from the pump relay,to the pump at No 87.
