Car Alarms: remote start, mitsubishi mirage, 2001 mitsubishi mirage

im looking for the third ignition wire on a 2001 mitsubishi mirage. i ordered a wiring diagram but it was for a 2000 mirage. made a mistake. now when i turn the remote start on.. it shuts off automatically after a few minutes. i would like to know where to hook up the 3rd ignition wire to.

Let's step back a moment for clarity here.
Remote starters have start and run cycles.
Once they start, they run from 5 minutes to
45 minutes, depending on the preset programing.

Here are the wires in the 01'

12V. constant |white |+  |ignition harness
STARTER|black/yellow |+  |ignition harness
1. IGNITION|black/white |+  |ignition harness
SECOND IGNITION|blue/black |+  |ignition harness
ACCESSORY|blue/white |+  |ignition harness

But it sounds as if you have that already?

Let me know. But I think it's a matter of setting
the legnth of time you want the engine to run.
It will not however continue to run past the set
cycle time unless you turn on the ign key prior to
it shutting down. That's a safety issue for the
manufacturer.
