Car Stereos: Hyundai Xg350 2002, hyundai xg350, sony xplod cd player

Recently installed a Sony Xplod cd player and wired everything correct, there is power everything works but sound...can you please help me?

Dustin,  Usually, this problem is linked back to inexperienced wiring.  I don't want to say that you didn't wire correctly, but you may have forgotten to cover a hot wire and shorted out the internal amplifier.  Every wire must be connected properly and securely, and if not connected, it must be covered.  It is usually too late, once this problem is realized.  The unit must be repaired.  So, to test my theory, pull the unit and take it to your local stereo shop and have them bench test it.  If it works on their bench, then I am wrong, and they should be able to the right direction to fix the problem.  If it doesn't, it will need to be repaired.  Hope this helps, Scott
