Car Stereos: amp power wire, rubber grommet, factory holes

on a 97 saturn sl. I am trying to run a four gage power wire to my amp and cant find a factory cut hole in the fairewall.

There are not any extra factory holes in the firewall.  You need to go to a hardware store and find a rubber grommet that fits your wire somewhat snug, but not too snug.  Then that grommet will require a certain size hole.  You will need to find a spot on the firewall that is accessible from both sides of the firewall.  Then drill a hole the size that is required by the grommet.  Then install the grommet.  Then, stick the wire through the grommet, and your done.  Hope this helps, Scott
