Anthony,  You are correct.  Your cd player needs cleaning, and it has to be removed and opened up to get it clean.  The cheapest fix would be to remove the radio yourself and take it into an electronic repair shop.  The cost would be about $50.  Second, you can take it to a stereo shop, and they can remove it for you and send it to the repair shop.  That cost would be around $150.  Finally, you can take it to the dealer and have it repaired, and they will charge around $250.  Hope this helps, Scott
