Car Stereos: 2004 tahoe, chevy tahoe, 2004 chevy tahoe

I just bought a radio from the junk yard today and i brought it home and tried putting it in my 2004 chevy , tahoe? nothing happened I don't know if it is locked and i need to get the codes or if it is just bunk.  Thank you so much if you can help. Brandon

Brandon, I do believe that GM cars around yours age do require a reset.  I do not think it is a code that you can enter.  I think it has to be reset at the dealer.  Call your local dealer to verify, and they should know exactly what you need to do.  Hope this helps, Scott
