Car Stereos: GPS System, remote starter installation, antenna connection

I recently had remote start put on my Chysler 2005 300C, the gps system is lost. It dont't show the car anywhere near where it is?

Hi Tracy,

Unfortunately, I'm not very familiar with OEM in-dash navigation systems.  I can't see why a remote starter installation would affect your GPS tracking.  It's possible that the system just needs some time to catch up if the battery was disconnected during the remote start installation.  It's also possible that a GPS antenna connection was unplugged or damaged during the installation.

If it hasn't caught up after a few hours of driving, I'd take it back to wherever you had the remote starter installed and have them look for a disconnected GPS antenna; or take it to a dealer.
