Car Stereos: 05 jeep G.C. stereo no power, fuse boxes, stock stereo

I installed my Alpine using a wiring harness and now NO POWER!! not even to my stock stereo. EVERY fuse is just fine. I had them all tested. what to do??

Hi Josh,

If you're not getting any power even to the stock stereo, every fuse probably isn't fine.  Check every fuse in the car with a fuse tester (not just a visual check).  Also make sure you test BOTH fuse boxes (if there are two; most cars have them now -- one under the dash, and one under the hood.)

Also, check the harness to make sure nothing is loose in it.

If none of those work, you might just find yourself having to tap power from elsewhere in the car.
