Car Stereos: Amplifier, soundstream speakers, pioneer headunit

Hi i have a high end pioneer headunit and two 150watt rms 6.5" soundstream speakers also potentially a small sub in the future an was wondering what size, type and how many channels etc i need to power them so that they all sound good?

Hi Carl,

If you have 2 6.5" and 1 subwoofer you want to power, you'll want to find a bridgeable 4 channel amp.  Put each 6.5" on its own channel, and then bridge the subwoofer across the other two channels.

A 5-700 amp (depending on the subwoofer size) should be plenty.
