Car Stereos: static on front speakers only, crackling noise, factory speakers

Question
As soon as my radio gets power static noise starts coming from my front speakers and tweeters. The rear speakers are perfectly clear. A few days ago while i was driving down the freeway I heard a loud crackling noise coming from the speakers. I quickly pulled over and shut the car off and noticed that my power wire going to my Amp in the trunk had came loose and was shorting on the amp case itself. (I did not have the subs in the trunk at the time this happened)

After i started the car I noticed as soon as my radio gets power, static noise starts coming from my front speakers and tweeters. The rear speakers are perfectly clear.  I can even turn the radio off and the static is still there until i shut the car off and open the door to kill power to the radio.  The static does not  change depending on engine running or not. I'm  at a lost at this point and looking to try anything as the static is really annoying.

Pioneer DVD/GPS Head unit
Factory Speakers (2 door, 2 front tweeters, 2 rear)
2 12" subs in the trunk with an amplifier ( amplifier is completely disconnected at this time)

Have any idea what might be going on?

Answer
Hi Jim,

Are the front speakers hooked up to the amplifier?  If so, it's likely the source of your issue, as there's probably another loose wire somewhere.

If not, check the connections on the back of the deck going to the speakers.  If they're doing it regardless of whether the deck is on or not, that would suggest to me there are some wires touching that shouldn't be, and power is going to the speakers.
