Car Stereos: iPod in 96 Infinity, infinity i30, premium sound system

I just picked up a used 1996 Infinity I30 with the Bose Premium sound system.

Other than the wireless FM-channel transmitters, is there something that would allow me to connect my Nano to the Bose and have it look factory installed?

Hi Gary,

From what I can gather, there are no aftermarket kits you can use to put an iPod on your factory system.  Your best bet is going to be an FM modulator.  You may want to look into an FM transmitter that has a wire that clamps onto your factory antenna wire which will provide better reception.

There are even wireless ones where you could hide the fm transmitter and just pop a little connector onto the ipod.
