Car Stereos: 2007 Chrysler Pacifica Touring, 2007 chrysler pacifica, chrysler pacifica

Question
I just bought this Pacifica for my wife, but the sound quality is sub par for this nice of a vehicle. It has a factory in dash 6 disc CD changer ( which I would prefer to save) and a factory Navigation system. This doesn't have the top of the line Infinity audio system that is in the Limited version. Are there any aftermarket car stereos that will interface with the nav system ( I think the talking feature is the main sticking point) and the cd changer? I would like to add XM since I have 2 accounts now. CHrysler has a Sirius tuner that will work with this system, but the sound quality still sucks. Any advice that will preserve as much of the factory

Answer
Hi Mike.

So what you want its to change the radio or add quality sound?. a new radio wont do it if you want a full sound you might wanna think on maybe getting an amplifier, subwoofer and replacing the door speakers for aftermarket speakers and maybe amplify them. that way you can keep all your nice factory features because if you change your deck you are gonna have to buy modules and interfaces to be able to use all the factory features like steering wheel control, nav,  etc.

there is an interface you can find it on crutchield.com that lets you control the XM through the factory radio so you dont need to have the receiver added on, its pretty neat but its a little expensive.

let me know if you have anything else in mind

Hope this helps.
