The display panel lights went out on my car stereo system today but the radio and disk player still work fine.  What happened and how do I fix it?

Hi Stan.

Check the Dim Funcion on your car.
If the lights went out on the whole dash it might be due to a fuse blown if its only the radio there has to be a problem with the unit itself, check the fuses if all of them are alright then im pretty sure its gonna be a problem on the head unit.
