Car Stereos: cd/radio removal mountaineer 2003, car audio shop, purpouse

Question
How do I remove 6 disc /dash mountaineer 2003 (it does not have the 4 holes). It appears that I need to remove the facia surrounding the player, but I do not want to force it.

Hi greg.

yeah you dont wanna force that facia if you over stress it its gonna break. i like to use what we call a "bone" its a tool made for that purpouse, it wont scratch your dash when you try to pop those clips. a metal panel poper or a screwdriver will make some massive damage in a heartbit so dont try to poke it. to be honest with you i would take it to a car audio shop and have them remove the panel if you dont feel comfortable enough to remove it yourself.
