Car Stereos: installing new stereo into a 98 Grand Cherokee, jeep grand cherokee, cd mp3 player

QUESTION: My son is trying to install a new stereo into my 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it has an alarm on the deck, How does he override the alarm or install the stereo with the alarm. It is a Koss unit

QUESTION: The stereo is now wired up and very loud. However now when the stereo is on and the fog lights are on the flash all most to the bass but not quite.HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ANSWER: What's flashing to the bass?? The deck?? the fog lights??
Does it do this at low volumes and high volumes?

QUESTION: sorry for the confusion, it is the fog lights that are flashing and they do it at low and high volumes.They are not really flashing in time with the bass they are just flashing.

Flashing on and off usually indicates that there may a poor ground running to the relay that switches the power on the fogs. If they are aftermarket lights, there's a pretty good chance that the ground for the relay was knocked loose or off during the deck installation. Relays tend to "motorboat" (cycle on and off) when a poor ground is present.
