Car Stereos: digital dolby codes, digital dolby, chevy silverado

Question
Is it posible to enter codes into your stock stereo to get dolby digital sound? If so, I have a 1994 chevy silverado, do you know how to do it?

The only Dolby that was available on the 94 Chev was Dolby B noise reduction for a factory cassette player. Is that what you're looking for?
There was a little trick to engage this feature on the stereos that didn't have the built in EQ's on the cassette portion. It's been so long since I did this I can't recall which buttons to push...I do remember it was a combo of fade up and then either volume up or tuning up... then also try fade down and tuning or volume down...
Sorry.. I can't remember much more than that. Also remember that not all decks had this capability.. you should try messing around with the variations I described but if they don't work, you deck may not have the function.
