Start truck and eveythig comes on except the unit. unplug unit take it in house for a couple mins plug it back up and it works untill it sits with no power. I have the power amp wire off of the expensive harness going to the ingingtion red wire on the radio. and there is a mute wire coming off the radio is this a nessacray connectons?

Answer
After to disconnect the negative battery terminal, which is necessary on pretty much every car nowadays when you install anything electrical.
1. Disconnect everything. Check the fuses on the unit and on the car for the radio.
2. Connect only the black, red, and yellow wires in that order.
3. If everything is working connect all of the other wires, orange is a fader for the lights, theres should be two blue wires, one is .3 volts for a power antenna wire, and the other is above 3 volts for an amp turn on. Usually, brown is mute which isnt needed.
