Auto Racing: Stroking a 4.3L V6, wrist pins, aftermarket components

Question
Since, the bore and stroke are the same on 4.3L V6 as the 350, is it possible to up stroke it like a 383 for greater lower end torque?

Answer
A quick internet search on this subject would reveal that several race teams have developed this engine for limited class racing. Modification would require special pistons with offset wrist pins, different connecting rods and of course a special crankshaft. The gains vs cost will be the deciding factor.
There are several aftermarket components available to improve the performance of this engine without costing you an arm and a leg.

Hope this helps.
