BMW Repair: bmw, upper radiator hose, radiator cap

Question
hi.  I wrote in yesterday about a battery & radiator light.  I can see now that the alternator belt is broken and a 2.5inch round pipe ( about 1 foot long) has blown off the side of the radiator.  how much 2 fix? anything else probably broken that I should have checked?  '99 bmw 328i. thanks.

Answer
Mr.X, I would replace radiator, both drive belts, Inspect all pulleys, replace upper radiator hose, thermostat, water pump, resevoir, and radiator cap, check the mechanical fan for broken or cracked blades and fan clutch for operation as well as the electric pusher fan. I don't have any idea how much these items cost in your area. I also can't actually inspect the car. You will need to take the car to a reputable mechanic for inspection. Good luck and I hope you saved the head gasket in time.
