BMW Repair: ABS and transmissiom, abs light, howdy partner

howdy partner, i purchased a 1998 528i just over a month ago. my ABS light has come on and when driving on the expressway i cant go pass 60mph, once it reaches 60mph it just keeps revving like its going to go to the next gear but never does. i have a 2yr warranty,if it has something to do with the ABS or the transmission am i covered or should i feel like carmax sold me a lemon.

 Honestly it sounds like your ABS/transmission problems are two separate issues.  It seems like the car is not going into 4th gear.  I dont think Carmax would have knowingly sold this car to you, as they have a good reputation.  Its probably something that just happened, or one of the techs did not notice this problem before you bought it.  Knowing CARMAX, they should take this car back and fix/replace it.
