BMW Repair: Water temperature meter, temperature meter, guage

Hi Josh,

I have a 318is model from 1990 and the water temperature meter do not indicate anything. I have changed the sensor that is in the right side of the cooler, but the problem persist.  When I turn key to the ignition position, seem to be ok (the needle meter move slightly) but it's all, it doesn't move from this position.

Please, could you help me about this issue?

 Your guage could be bad.  The guage it's self in the cluster is what I am talking about.  They are notorious for loosing ground and giving erratic readings.

 Sometimes you can tap on the cluster and it will start working again.
