BMW Repair: 1988 BMW 325xi, bmw 325xi, pelicanparts

Question
I recently replaced the valves after blowing the timing belt.  The car runs but extremely rough.  The person doing the work did not believe the valves could be adjusted.  If they can how is that done.

Answer
Maurice,
Hopefully this person is not taking your money for the repairs, because they indeed can be adjusted, and should be adjusted every 20k miles (roughly).  If the valves are too tight/loose it will cause rough idling and poor performance.  Since someone else on the internet already did a write-up on this procedure I'll just pass it along instead of typing a whole new one.
