BMW Repair: 1995 bmw 325ic, valve cover gasket, oil filter housing

appears to have oil leak (minor) front center of engine compartmnet. could it be oil pan gasket or ? Any suggestions appreciated.

It could be an oil pan gasket, a valve cover gasket, a main oil seal, the oil filter housing, the cap for the oil filter may not be tight, the o-rings on the oil filter cap could be leaking or someone spilled oil on the engine. Most commonly are the valve cover gasket or oil filter housing. Was the oil changed recently?
