can you tell me how to replace the timing chain on a 96' bmw 316 can you send me information on the angles that the cogs need to be set at and where the pistons should be set i have only removed one cog so i could get the chain off but could you please send me info on all

if you haven't taken off the chain yet, be sure to mark the camshaft and crankshaft so they are in the exact same position when you reinstall.  I don't know of any specific angle the cogs need to be set at.  for more info checkout:
