GMC Repair: GMC Safari fuel fuse, gmc safari, fuel pump relay

Question
Our '91 GMC Safari fuel pump is not working, and we are looking at cheap
solutions first.  We want to check the fuse, but have no idea which one it is.
Do yo have any idea?  Thank you!  Shara

Answer
I am not sure which one is the fuel pump fuse for a 1991, but an easy way to check for power is to see if the fuel pump relay is clicking when you turn on the key. It should click on and the off 3-5 seconds after you turn the key on, not trying to start the engine. If the relay does click take it out and check for power at the connections under it in the fuse panel. If you have power at any of the connections with the key off then the fuses are all good, and you ahve a bad fuel pump.

From my personal experience unless this is just a crazy problem, you probably have a bad fuel pump, and even if the fuse is blown, the pump is probably the reason it is blown.
