GMC Repair: turn signals, turn signal switch, buick skylark

Question
my turn signals started working sporaticaly.they would come on then stop working.now they dont work at all.i have no brake lights now.and my cruise cotrol quit.my emergency flashers dont work either.i noticed a light out but couldnt see why that would put every thing out.i still have head lights and tail lights.i have a 1998 buick skylark. any sugestions would be greatly appreciated.thank you

 Sounds like you have a failed turn signal switch,usually when it fails you loose brake lamps and turn signals,also the hazard lamps will fail to operate.
 The cruise control may be related,but ive never seen the cruise go inop because of a failed turn signal switch,though it does need feedback from the brake switch to operate,so more than likely the turn signal switch is causing no brake input thus no cruise,Let me know if you need more help,Thanks
