Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): tecumseh hs50, snow blowers, kill switch

still no spark. What should the Ohms be on the ignition coil? Our readings seem to be a little off.

I can not get a spark. replaced points, condenser, plug

this is on one of those 2 cycle snow blowers   i believe...
by any means....    the key  shut off, or kill switch  is shorting out.....   check this.  if you did everything right?   , then it is grounding out.   disconnect the kill wire and check.   if its the key type?  play with the key,  back and forth,  and check.

not too  sure on this....... but my book  for a model close to yours???  is saying 400  ohms.   if  you have gone over everything else,  >  and still no  fire????  then  i,d say your coil  did go  out.  no matter what the ohms are  if all is checked...   it is shot.   needs replacing. i,m  showing a figure of around $29
