GMC Repair: 82 Degree Spark Advance, timing curve, spark plug wire

I Have a 1993 GMC With 350 Engine TBI Injection What Causes It to Have 82 Degree Spark Advance

Have you followed the directives of the manufacturer as to setting the BASE TIMING of which usually requires disconnecting a special connector within the timing wiring area of the vehicle ?.

The computer has the ability to provide a large timing curve from possibly 100 degrees BEFORE TDC or 100 degrees ATDT.

If your reading 82 degrees, Most likely you do not have this timing connector disconnected and or you are on the WRONG spark plug wire.
