American Motors: power brake and power steering conversion, amc cars, salvage yard

Question
I recently restored an original 1974 CJ-5 Renegade, 304 V8.  This particular Jeep came with manual steering and brakes and I desire to add power steering and brakes.  My original Jeep parts catralogs, which I used during restoration, show both as an option on my Jeep.  However, the catalog shows that most of the components required (by part number) are unique to '72 through '75 CJ's.  However, I do not have the part numbers or cross reference books for the '72/'73 Commando or AMC cars.  Will anything other than parts from a '72-'75 CJ interchange?

Answer
The safest way to convert is to find a 72-76 CJ and get the components from it. You should be able to find parts on E Bay or at a salvage yard. A salvage yard will also have a book that lists which components fit a paticular year; a cross reference book.
